The witness who came forward was only six years old at the time of the incident so details are sketchy. According to the witness, the victim was a white male named "Roy" who was beaten to death with a fire poker and buried in the woods behind his house. Roy was a caretaker of a farm for an older, white female named "Quincey". The incident could have occurred in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas.
