The GBI's Crime Analysis Unit has received information on a possible homicide that may have occurred sometime between 1975 and 1979. The witness who came forward was only six years old at the time of the incident so details are sketchy. According to the witness, the victim was a white male named "Roy" who was beaten to death with a fire poker and buried in the woods behind his house. Roy was a caretaker of a farm for an older, white female named "Quincey". The incident could have occurred in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas.
