Dawson, GA – On Monday, June 6, 2016, Dawson, Georgia Mayor Christopher Wright, age 26, was indicted in a Terrell County Grand Jury on charges of Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sodomy, Child Molestation, Rape, and Statutory Rape.

The indictments against Wright are the result of a GBI child molestation investigation that also involved Milton Johnson, age 52, of Terrell County; Takieya Johnson, age 35, of Dawson, GA; and Erica Soilberry-Johnson, age 32, of Columbus, GA, who  have been convicted in the case.  During the February 2016 trial of Milton Johnson, the victim testified during trial implicating Wright on molestation charges.

On Wednesday June 8, Wright surrendered to the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office and was booked into the jail.
