Arrests Made in Brooks County Voter Fraud Investigation
QUITMAN, GA - Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Secretary of State’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, Brooks County Sheriff’s Office and Quitman Police Department arrested ten(10) individuals on December 21, 2010, as a result of a five-month voter fraud investigation.
Those arrested on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, on warrants obtained by the GBI are as follows:
NANCY DENNARD, 50 years of age - 711 South Court Street, Quitman – Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and three(3) counts of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
LATASHIA HEAD, 36 years of age - 2090 South Court Street, Quitman – Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and two(2) counts of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
LULA SMART, 49 years of age - 508 North Lee Street, Quitman - Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and three(3) counts of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
APRIL PROCTOR, 31 years of age – 706 West Hill Street, Quitman - Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and three(3) counts of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
KECHIA HARRISON, 38 years of age – 411 North Perry Street, Quitman - Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and three(3) counts of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
LINDA TROUTMAN, 57 years of age – 5324 Jackson Road, Morven - Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and three(3) counts of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
ELIZABETH THOMAS, 52 years of age – 2609 Barwick Road, Quitman - Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and three(3) counts of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
SANDRA CODY, 47 years of age – 380 Scott Lane, #1, Dixie - Two(2) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and one(31) count of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
ROBERT DENNARD, 37 years of age – 606 North Warren Street, Quitman - Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots.
ANGELA BRYANT, 44 years of age – 1104 West Bay Street, Apt. #3, Quitman - Three(3) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballots and two(2) counts of Violation of Procedure for Voting by Absentee Ballot.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Southern Judicial Circuit District Attorney David Miller to conduct this investigation.
The investigation into this matter by the GBI’s Regional Office in Thomasville continues.
