Grayson, GA - Over $250,000 worth of prescription drugs including Morphine, Oxymorphone, Ritalin, and Opana were seized during a search of 1230 Hogan Ridge Drive in Grayson on Friday, April 4.  The Conyers Police Department and the GBI’s West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office and Major Theft Unit obtained a search warrant for the residence after a two and a half month investigation of the January 20th armed robbery of Omnicare Pharmacy in Conyers.  During the search over 6,000 suspected prescription pills were recovered from the Hogan Ridge Drive residence.  The pills were consistent with those taken during the armed robbery of Omnicare Pharmacy.  Three handguns were also seized during the search. 

Two arrests have been made related to the investigation.  Norris Bernard-Marquis Turner, 26, was arrested during a traffic stop on Ronald Reagan Parkway in Gwinnett County.  Turner has been charged with one count of Controlled Substances with Intent to Distribute and is being held in the Gwinnett County Jail.  Donovan Xavier Ferguson, 25, was arrested during the search warrant.  Ferguson has been charged with Armed Robbery and is being held in the Rockdale County Jail.  Both men reside at 1230 Hogan Ridge Drive, Grayson. Additional charges may be pending.

The Gwinnett County Police Department assisted with the arrest of Turner and the search warrant.
