CORNELIA, GA – Investigators with the Cornelia Police Department and agents with the GBI have discovered security camera video from the Lowe’s in Cornelia that may show the person who shot the Little Caesar’s employee Thursday night around 10:00pm during a robbery.

The Lowe’s is located about a mile from the Little Caesar’s and the security video shows a dark-colored Pontiac Firebird with tinted windows and a scoop on the back parked in the Lowe's parking lot. The car, a 1993 to 2002 model, had a blue and white drive-out tag with the letter "A" on it.

A white or Hispanic male, dark hair, clean shaven, 5-7 to 5-9, in his 20's, 190-200 lbs. is shown exiting the car then walking behind the Lowe's toward the Little Caesar’s.  Ten minutes after the robbery and shooting occurred,  witnesses saw the man running back to his car.  These witnesses who saw the man told investigators that it appeared he was sweating. The man drove from the parking lot quickly.

Witnesses also indicted the man was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt; dark pants but lighter than his shirt, and had a red Jansport backpack.  The man matches the description provided by witnesses at Lowe's with the description of the man who committed the armed robbery at Little Caesar’s.

Anyone with information on the driver of this car is asked to call the Cornelia Police Department at 706-894-3071 or the GBI Tip Line at 1-800-597-TIPS (8477).
