SALARY:               $35,569.36/yr – $59,101.13/yr
                           Salary commensurate with training and experience

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university which must have included the successful completion of at least two (2) science courses

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under immediate supervision, learns to perform laboratory examinations, scientific analyses and comparisons on physical evidence related to questioned documents submitted by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies for investigative and legal purposes.

 

Applicants must be willing to accept a job assignment anywhere in the state, at a regional laboratory or headquarters, upon the completion of training at the Headquarters Laboratory in Decatur, Georgia and sign a written service agreement to serve in the position for a period of twenty-four (24) months upon completion of twelve months of training.

Positions will be filled at a level commensurate with the training and experience of the individual selected.
