Under immediate supervision, learns to perform laboratory examinations, scientific analyses and comparisons on physical evidence submitted by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies for investigative and legal purposes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:( In addition to the minimum qualifications above, applicants MUST possess the following experience, education and/or course work, appropriate to the area of assignment (Forensic Biology), in order to be considered for this vacancy):
- Completion of a Biology, Genetics, or Biochemistry major with the successful completion of at least 40 semester (or 60 quarter) hours of biology coursework, of which included the completion of genetics, biochemistry, and molecular biology courses
Salary Range: $35,569.36 - $48,935.59; salary commensurate with experience
