Narrative:
Toyal Jackson, a 22-year-old student at the State University of West Georgia, was last seen October 29, 2000 at 11:15 p.m. when she told her roommates that she was going to a Wal-Mart in Carrollton. At the time, she was wearing a yellow shirt and jeans as well as eyeglasses and sandals. A city sanitation worker discovered Jackson's body on November 30, 2000, while clearing a spray field at a city wastewater treatment facility.
A witness came forward prior to the discovery of Jackson's body to tell Carrollton police he saw a stocky white man pushing a black female into the driver's side of a Red Nissan pickup truck, approximately 1989 or 1990 model, possibly a 4-wheel drive. This occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. on the night of Jackson's disappearance in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The witness provided GBI Forensic artist Marla with a description of the man that led to the sketch shown here.
Anyone with information on this murder or on the identity of the person in the sketch is asked to contact the Carrollton Police Department and/or the GBI.
