Narrative:
Pants size: 10, Shoe size: 6 Skeletal remains of a female were discovered in Oglethorpe County on March 20, 1988, by a couple who had stopped along County Road 190 near State Highway 77 North to watch a beaver in a nearby swamp. Remains were in a large, dark-blue canvas gym bag. Wrists were bound with nylon cord. No cause of death has been established. Subject was wearing dark blue, pin-stripped, Jordache jeans; a faded, light-colored pullover T-shirt, a light-colored sweatshirt; Nike athletic shoes. Found in the bag was a long, cotton dress with green, red and white stripes. It is believed that the victim died during the Spring of 1987. She had suffered a broken nose sometime during her life as well as other injuries - 5 broken ribs, broken right shin-bone - which had begun to heal that would indicate she had been in an accident a few months before her death. |
